New Zealand's new late-night gay radio show Camp FM is now broadcasting each Wednesday night in Wellington and on the internet.

Aaron Halliwell and Andy Boreham, the gay creative forces behind Up magazine, along with numerous other gay media and events – and the creators of 'glam drag' troupe The Glamazons – are hosting the two-hour broadcast.

From 11pm on Wellington's student-based Munt 88.5FM, their show features a mixture of pop-based music – including premieres of new tracks – gay gossip, phone interviews, talkback and GayNZ.com news stories.

Listeners can make musical requests or chat via the internet or phone during each programme.

Their programme began in a low-key style three weeks ago, as the hosts wanted their first broadcasts to be 'test runs', says Halliwell. Early feedback has been positive, with the first shows attracting a small following on GayNZ.com's Forum.

To help promote their new show, the hosts have also started a blog, simply called 'Aaron and Andy'.

Camp FM is broadcast each Wednesday night from 11pm until 1am on Munt 88.5FM in Wellington, and live via the internet on the top link below. The bottom link provided is Anaron & Andy's blogging page.
