Over the last week a host of events have been held in venues across Auckland, including Saturday's Tri-Nations Dance Party with DJs Rotten Robbie, Mauri and Matt Effect.

At the closing BBQ on Sunday, co-organiser Alan Granville said the week had been a massive success.

"We have been blown away by the support and feedback. All the events went well and there are so many highlights from the week.

"We have already had enquiries from the USA and Australia on when the next event will be next year."

Over $1,500 was raised for Body Positive at the Dot's Bingo night and the raffle collection at Mr Urge NZ Bear 2010, which was won by French import Eric.

"Some friends have asked if we are going to make Bear NZ bigger and better in 2011. We want to make the next one even better, but perhaps not bigger as we want to keep the event intimate and friendly," added Granville.
