GenderBridge group needs new coordinator

One of New Zealand's foremost transgender support and information networks needs a new part-time coordinator to take the organisation to the next level.

"This is a brand new position that we are very excited about," GenderBridge's Jaimie Veale tells GayNZ.com. "This is the beginning of a new phase for GenderBridge - we are looking forward to being able to provide more much needed support to the transgender community in Auckland."

GenderBridge is an Auckland-based incorporated society providing support for transgendered people and their friends and family. Its new co-ordinator will assist the board in carrying out marketing initiatives, funding applications, management and processing of Genderbridge mail, membership database, and subscription fees. They will also be a key contact point for potential new members as well as other organisations working with Genderbridge.

This role is part-time at ten hours per week for six months,based in the Auckland CBD. A full job description is on the GenderBridge website.
