The world-conquering Topp Twins will perform at Gay Ski Week this September.

It will be the first time Jools and Lynda Topp have performed at the event.

Gay Ski Week promoters say it's always been a dream to have the 'Kiwi icons and national treasures' involved.

"The girls are excited to be part of this year's eighth annual festival, and they also plan on hitting the slopes with the other gay ski weekers while in Queenstown."

The Topp Twins are currently in the US, where they are performing and touring film festivals with their documentary Untouchable Girls. The film won a jury prize at New York's Newfest 2010.

The Topp Twins show will be held on the Thursday 9 September at the Rydges Ballroom. Gay Ski Week runs from September 4-12 in Queenstown.

Tickets to the show and all the other events can be bought from the
Gay Ski Week NZ website
