Gay British comedian Matt Lucas – well-known as "Only gay in the village" Daffyd Thomas in Little Britian, is set to play Tweedledee and Tweedledum in Tim Burton's 3-D movie version of Alice in Wonderland.

The two characters are rotund identical brothers who always agree with each other. They first appeared in Alice author Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking-Glass.

Tim Burton's 3-D Alice in Wonderland is scheduled for release in 2010. It will also star Johnny Deep as The Mad Hatter and Helena Bonham Carter as The Queen of Hearts.
