The first-ever Mr. Gay UK is now on trial for reportedly murdering his lover and cooking part his thigh.

Anthony Morley, 33, a chef who was named Mr. Gay UK in 1993, denies the charges, claiming he was defending himself against an attempted rape.

The prosecution says the two men had sex in Morley's house, before cutting his victim's throat and stabbing him several times.

The UK's Daily Mail reports that Morley cut pieces of flesh from his victim's thigh and cooked them in herbs. He attempted to eat them, then told neighbours to call the police, saying "I've killed someone".

The trail continues.
