Church: Chapter Five

CHURCH turns five, and CHAPTER FIVE is how the community marks it.

To celebrate, the ART COLLABS series continues with a new work by ringatoi Māori Māia Keane (Te Tairāwhiti). Her piece reimagines CHURCH as a place of gathering, framed by a triangular shelter that leans into sanctuary, with whaiaipo, pursuing love under cover of night, at its heart.

What started as a party has grown into something bigger: a community shaped by dancefloors, friendships, and collaborations, held together by the people who keep showing up.

This is a night to rejoice, to celebrate what CHURCH has become, and to give thanks to everyone who's walked this journey over the past five years.
