A Wairarapa man has died in hospital after he was beaten and left lying in bushes in Featherston Park last Wednesday night.
Paul Irons, 36, was found with his pants down around his ankles, scratches on his midriff and serious head injuries, reports the Wairarapa Times-Age.

Three young men appeared in Masterton Court today charged with homicide. Almost 30 police and forensic specialists are working on the case.
