Gay TV presenter Steve Gray's last day hosting TVOne's Good Morning will be this Friday, as TVNZ says its cost-cutting measures mean it can't afford to keep the show's full hosting team on for next year.
Some reports suggest Gray has been offered the chance to stay on the show as its film/DVD reviewer, but will not remain as co-host of the show with fellow presenters Sarah Bradley and Brendan Pongia, who are both said to be returning in 2010.
Gray told GayNZ.com today that he could not comment until his contract with TVNZ ends early next year, but confirmed his last day as host of Good Morning would be this Friday 11 December.
The opinionated presenter started on Good Morning as a film/DVD reviewer when the show first started almost a decade ago, and was promoted to share co-hosting duties in 2007.
