UK: New website for newly HIV+ gay men

A new website from the UK aims to reduce the isolation, fear and myths gay men deal with when there are first diagnosed with HIV.

'What next?' contains diaries and video clips showing personal experiences of living with HIV, and offers facts and advice on topics ranging from keeping healthy to telling people you're HIV positive.

"Yes, it's forever. Yes, it can change our lives. But most of us can expect to live healthy, active, long lives," says the website, which is funded by the UK Department of Health.

"Because life with HIV does go on. It's not a terminal illness. Treatment is effective, which means we can manage our lives."

The 'What next?' website is linked below.
