Star couple ex-Star Trek star George Takei and his businessman partner Brad Altman will become the first-ever gay couple to appear in long-running TV gameshow The Newlywed Game when it returns soon.

The couple have been together for 22 years and married last year in California before the State's laws were changed to block same-sex marriages.
"What we want is to display the normality and the joy of having a happy union," Takei says.
To win the show, contestants must answer various fun questions about their partner, to prove how much they really know about their 'newlywedded' spouse.
