Kylie Minogue is set to play a heavily tattooed lesbian 'rock chick' in the film Jack and Diane.
The pop princess will apparently have a scene where she kisses a girl in the movie.
A source has told theNew York Post Kylie's fans will be surprised to see her in the role "but her performance is good".
The singer's last movie appearance was as an absinthe fairy in Moulin Rouge in 2001.
Jack and Diane stars Juno Temple and Elvis Presley's granddaughter, Riley Keough, as teen lovers. The romance/horror is is currently filming in New York, and is set for release next year.
The film takes its name from the 1982 song Jack & Diane by rocker John Mellencamp.
It has the following synopsis: “Jack and Diane, two teenage girls, meet in New York City and spend the night kissing ferociously. Diane's charming innocence quickly begins to open Jack's tough skinned heart. But, when Jack discovers that Diane is leaving the country in a week she tries to push her away. Diane must struggle to keep their love alive while hiding the secret that her newly awakened sexual desire is giving her werewolf-like visions."
