Beth Ditto has revealed she wants to start a family with her new girlfriend and will take the first step of seeking medical advice within the next year.
The voluptuous frontwoman of indie rock ban Gossip says it's the next thing on her priority list after she launches her new plus-size clothing line.
The 29-year-old has told Marie Claire magazine, "I want to do it when I'm 37. But I do want to go to the doctor in the next year and start taking it really seriously."
Ditto broke up with her long-term partner Freddie in January, after nine years together. She admits to the magazine she was close to Kristin - who is also her assistant - before ending her relationship with Freddie, but insists she never cheated on her former partner.
"It was something that I kept hidden deep inside of me. But everyone knew. Even people are parties and clubs would be like, 'When are they going to get together?' There was always a little guilt inside of me because I felt I was cheating, but I never cheated. We never did anything.
"I dated Freddie for nine years, and I was always worried it was going to end. With Kristin I never worry about it ending, I just feel completely full and whole."
