Queering the Archives with Gus Fisher
Free event
No ticket required
Gus Fisher Gallery and The Charlotte Museum (Te Whare Takatāpui-Wāhine o Aotearoa) present a conversation exploring the sapphic archives of Aotearoa, marking the 40th anniversary of the Homosexual Law Reform Act 1986.
The two organisations discuss how traditional archiving conventions are expanded through a sapphic and queer lens, drawing thematic parallels with the exhibition Studies for a Keepsake: Claude Cahun and Marcel Moore.
Held at The Charlotte Museum, the event includes a display of rare ephemera and archive materials from the Homosexual Law Reform campaign.
This event is free, but you'll need to RSVP using the link below.
