Sixth attacker in gay bashing case may get clean slate

  • A suspected ringleader in a string of premeditated attacks on gay Christchurch men last year may get to keep his clean record.

The teen, who was 15 at the time of the attacks, was sentenced to six months’ informal supervision and 150 hours of community service for his involvement in eight of the 10 assaults. He was the sixth and final offender to be sentenced.
